Oh me, Oh my snt this just so adorable?!  I love the freshness and prettiness in the design along with the beautiful stitching, layering and scalloped edges, which are so very feminine - I love it :)

Hi Folks

Well it is finally time to announce our winner of the 'Layers' Challenge back in July!  Isn't time moving so fast! I have hardly had a chance to put my pc on lately let alone craft;  i have just been out and about in some of the beautiful weather we've had and gardening. We have had a brand new deck put in our garden and it's super - i'm just out on it all the time :)

so I am really sorry this post is a little late announcing our winner. 

Well, what a challenge it was in July wow! We had 217 entries which was super A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

Picking a winner from all of those and such wonderful cards was sooooooooooooooo difficult, but I have to choose just one winner so the winning card is ..... number 176!

Hello Everyone

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful and special Jubilee bank holiday.  I am !  The weather isnt so great today but imrpoving tomorrow I think and we have the RED BALL coming to Torbay so I am excited to see that as I just LOVE arty/odd things :)  I have a bbq this afternoon at the inlaws and a Jubilee party at a friend's house tomorrow.  In between I want to relax and craft :)

February Challenge Winner

January Challenge Winners

Hi Everyone, what a freezing cold snap we are having, I will be very happy when it's finished!  Hope you are all cosy and warm where you are, we don't have snow but I hear lots of places do have snow, I think the seasons are a little out these days!!!

I have news today of January challenge winners, this time I have chosen more than one card to win a prize as there were SO many amazingly beautiful cards and over 250 entries to our challenge which for us, is some record!  So because of this we have 4 winners this time and here they are ...


Tammy and Marie's cards are just all about the paper and I really LOVE that, the paper is the star of the show and it is just so amazing what you can achieve just with paper... it is what inspires me EVERY day to do what I do. So I may be a teensy bit biased to all-about-the-paper cards BUT, these are just brilliant I think.

Tammy's card is simplicity itself and so very effective.  I love the little paper cuts stamped up, they just look like fabric squares dont they!

Marie's card is very clever using paper folding to make flower petals and leaves ... beautiful.  I love that you could use this same technique with all different paper designs for a totally different look each time.

Mandy and Jan's cards are just cutesy fabulous! They feature such cute images, how can you not love them! And coloured beautifully too on both cards, quite a skill to look natural and I think both have acheived this superbly.

I love the matting and layering of the papers on Mandy's card and such clever colouring matching too, olive and lilac is so cute!  I love the scalloped edge card, it is the similar to the bottom of the little lady's skirt.  Pretty flower work too on Mandy's card I like this way of tucking the sentiment in.

And Jan's card is adorable!  I love Jan's textures on this card, I love texture and I think it just gives a card the edge if it had lots of texture.  There is quite a bit of detail on this card but it still looks clean and fresh, very hard to achieve I think (it is for me anyway!)

I love the depth and texture of this card with its beautiful stitching and decorated die cut trees complete with golden glitter, a very traditional card and decorating the christmas tree is one of my most favourite traditions at christmas.  It has beautiful colouring and the sentiment is simple but says it all and I really loved this card a lot!

November Challenge Winner - Sweet Christmas

Hello Everyone,

Well what a massive response we had to last month's challenge, I think it was our best one yet!  So a huge christmassy 'thank you' to everyone who joined in with our Challenge for November ' Sweet Christmas'.

And what a sweet lot of cards and 'not' cards we had!  They were amazing!
